On March 2022, the Egyptian army shot a Palestinian ISIS member, Abu-Gamil al-Gazawy, who infiltrated into Sinai to give supplies to his ISIS colleagues hiding in North Sinai. It turned out that Abu-Gamil ( his real name is Mosaic) uncle in Yahya Sinwar, Hamas Gaza chief and the mastermind behind the latest attack against Israel on the 7th of October 2023.
